The passing of my dogs has been a really hard thing to overcome. I remember when my first dog passed away. Murphy was very loving. When he passed I remember walking him into the vet and having go to the back. I followed. A couple minutes before the shots I remember petting him on the top of the head. When he was gone they cut clay in the shape of a heart. They put his paw on and pressed. I remember my mom in tears on the way home. This happened with my other dog Maddie except I was the one crying this time. This symbolizes love and care from one person or thing to another.
An A on a report card for my family is like conquering your biggest fear. We get ecstatic. My mom buys you ice cream or takes you out for dinner. You can see the emotion coming from them. When we go out to dinner it is usually really nice. You can smell the food being fresh on your plate. You can taste the food. It doesn’t taste like regular, it tastes like accomplishment. This shows how great it is to get an A. This is also one of our traditions.
Sports are probably the biggest part of my life. Ever since I was 5 I have stayed with baseball, basketball, and football. I also used to play soccer. Baseball is my favorite sport, then football, and then basketball. In baseball I have a great team, I play shortstop and outfield. I am also really good. In football I played Running back but this year I got moved to Quarterback. It is really hard. In basketball I play point guard. That is also really hard. This symbolizes my love for and I will probably never let go.
Every year at Christmas we have a tradition of opening one present before bed on Christmas Eve. It is right before bed and only one. It is very exciting. I get to see one of my presents. Sometimes during the night I hear bells and hoofs right above me. Very rarely, but it happens I smell jellybeans. I get to feel the wrappings of all the different kinds. This is a very fun tradition.
All I heard was clapping. I was putting on my biggest smile ever. I had just completed my First Communion. After I got home I changed out of my mini suit and got on new clothes. When I came downstairs, my mom handed me a box. I opend it and it was a rosary, just for me. I was ecstatic. I could see all the happy faces on me. My dad explained what a rosary was and what it was for. I was so happy. This is a symbol of our religion.
